Working with several others, we are deriving kinematic and abundance information in all cardinal direcitions by acquiring abundance indices, luminosities, and radial velocities, primarily through classification spectra and intermediate-band photometry. Observations have been, and are being obtained from CTIO, KPNO, DAO, and Mount Laguna Observatory. Recently observations from the KPNO echelle spectrograph and from the WIYN Hydra spectrograph system have been obtained in the NGP direction, for deriving more detailed abundances of thick-disk and halo giants.
